Dustin earned his Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN, majoring in Psychology and Pre-Law with a minor in Forensic Science. After graduating Dustin returned to his hometown of Springfield, OH to pursue his interest in Special Education and received his Master’s of Education from Antioch University Midwest. He attended Catholic Central High School in Ohio where he was active in Habitat for Humanity for many years. Once he arrived in Charlotte 5 years ago he started working with Trips 4 Kids, a “mentoring through bicycling experience” and is active in the local Purdue Alumni Club.
Charlotte’s sense of community, quality of life and small town heart persuaded Dustin to make the move shortly after graduate school graduation. Dustin quickly absorbed everything Charlotte and became very familiar with the history and detail of many of Charlotte’s neighborhoods, as well as the rapidly growing areas of Uptown, NoDa, Plaza Midwood, Ballantyne and his favorite place to spend the weekends, Lake Norman.
Dustin is excited about the continuously growing city of Charlotte and the unique possibilities that this growth will present. Dustin’s passion for the Charlotte area and his years spent as a special education teacher have provided him a thorough ability to focus on results oriented work and satisfaction for students and clients alike. His ability to think analytically combined with his enthusiasm for his new career in Real Estate are certain to be winning combination over the coming years.
